Because the enrollments in certain courses vary every course period, some of the following courses may or may not be offered at the time of enrollment.  Be sure to speak to a representative to find out what courses are being offered during the course period you plan to sign up for.

   

  • Pipe-welder                                          

  • Pipe-fitter                            

  • Ship-fitter                                                                                           

  • Boilermaker                                   
  • Electrician                                             

  • Form Carpenter                 

  • Scaffold Builder

  • Brick and Block Mason

  • Safety Engineer *Safety Engineer is a stand alone major that can be taken without any knowledge of one of the above majors.  All other majors will consist of some safety course material.   

All graduating welding students will receive the following:

  1. The College of Industrial Trade Engineers Welding Certification

  2. Tennessee State Welding Certification

  3. CPR, First Aid and AED Certification.

  4. Equipment Operator Certification.

Upon job entry you will be certified by the company you work for as well.  Graduating students in other trades will receive certification in their trade plus the third and fourth certification listed above.   All students, regardless of their trade study, will be trained in “Confined Space Entry”.
